And finally, the reason for the detour through Wisconsin: to visit my high school Alma Mater. Boy did I have a lot of time on my hands.

After visiting my old boarding school, I shacked up with a friend for a few days, during which time I forgot how to use the camera. Then I turned south towards Texas. During this leg of the trip it was mostly boring, save for Buzz's alternator dying 100 miles south of St. Louis. Once again, a nice woman saw me pushing Buzz into a gas station and was kind enough to help me out in getting Buzz charged enough to get back to St. Louis where the closest BMW shop was. Once there, the BMW shop actually put me up for the night until they could get to repairing Buzz the next morning.

Once back on the road, I rode through Oklahoma, which is so remakably unremarkable that...

Shortly thereafter I arrived back in the grand ole state of Texas.
